PROGRAMS
KK Teen Ambassadors Leadership Program (TALP) is currently composed of a group of motivated and ambitious students from the Pinebelt Area of MS. The TALP Program was created to build awareness amongst teens about Kuntry Kidz and the programs and initiatives it supports in the community. Through participation in this program, young people cultivate leadership excellence through academic support/coaching, interactive workshops, leadership exercises, training and development, career preparation, small group activities, life skills development, community service, fundraising, dialogue with motivational speakers, and mentorship. These services are designed to empower students to develop their leadership potential while fulfilling the mission of Kuntry Kidz to EXPOSE, EQUIP & ENCOURAGE
Men of Purpose Male Mentoring
The Men of Purpose program provided by Kuntry Kidz is a transformative initiative that guides young boys seeking a positive future. It helps them establish a clear vision for their lives based on biblical principles and a foundation of righteousness. Our mission is to expose them to opportunities that expand their perspectives, equip them with essential tools for success, and encourage them throughout their journey.
Through Men of Purpose, we aim to raise a generation of disciplined, purpose-driven young men who are prepared to lead, serve, and positively impact their families and communities.
Teens Travel & College Tours
Kuntry Kidz coordinates inspiring trips for
middle and high school students. Participants
have opportunity to tour college campuses and
gain exposure to transformative travel
experiences while learning local history and
culture.
WORKSHOPS & EVENTS
ACR Workshops
Kuntry Kidz offers free or reduced-cost Academic & Career Readiness workshops. Featured workshops are ACT Prep, Scholarship Saturdays.
Kupcakes & Konversations
Round table discussions that give girls an opportunity to discuss relevant events and exposure to various career professionals.
Kutz & Konversations
Round table discussions where we minister to the public while offering free haircuts. These sessions create a welcoming environment to engage, uplift, and inspire those in our care, leaving a lasting impression on their spiritual, mental, and emotional well-being.
Teen Leadership Summit
Since the fall of 2013, Kuntry Kidz has offered a unique empowering leadership opportunity for students to be exposed, equipped, and encouraged from a holistic approach. By attending this summit, students in 8-12 grades from across the State of Mississippi are invited to hear from national speakers, participate in thought-provoking workshops and develop leadership skills.
