Volunteer/
Mentor

Requirements

All volunteers for Kuntry Kidz must be 18 years or older, are required to attend one orientation and pass a Level II Background Screening.

 

At the orientation, volunteers will learn about the policies and procedures of the program as well as hear about other opportunities to become more involved with Kuntry Kidz.

ResponsibilitIes
  • Assists with the Kuntry Kidz activities such as workshops, fundraising, field trips, etc.

  • Serves as caring, committed, and dependable resource to enhance services of Kuntry Kidz

  • Provides special skills and knowledge

  • Is looked upon for wise advice and guidance

Volunteer

College Ambassador Program

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of others? Do you want to bring new opportunities to your college or university? Do you want to help spread the message of positive exposure while helping to encourage and equip youth for success? If so, the Kuntry Kidz Collegiate Ambassador Program (KKCA) may be perfect for you! 

This opportunity is open to all students who fit the following criteria;

  • Students currently enrolled as an undergraduate and graduate program in a college or university

  • Passionate about positive youth development

  • Able to plan events and/or work well with others

  • Have a desire to develop your leadership skills and mentor students in the community

What it Is

 

KK Collegiate Ambassadors are comprised of students from various colleges & universities that network to promote mentorship to youth

KK College Ambassadors inspire middle and high students to pursue post secondary education.

 

WHAT KK COLLEGE  AMBASSADORS DO

Serve as advisors for programming that will expose, equip an encourage junior high and high school students.

 

Provide tutoring and attend group mentoring sessions with leadership academy participants

 

Attend campus/university and public events as a KK College Ambassador to recruit additional members

Serve as a peer mentor for incoming freshmen and transfer students 

Participate in leadership roles with Kuntry Kidz events
